ADCC 2026 Burner Report
A historic weekend in Poland, a 40-minute collar tie exchange, a brawl, and a brand having the best and worst month of its life.

ADCC 2026 is in the books! After a historic weekend in Poland, the grappling world got a ton of incredible highlights, a bunch of lowlights, and a fair share of snooze-worthy moments (which certainly didn’t help if you were watching live from the US). We got our first European champion in 23 years, since Jon Olav Einemo.
Stock rising
- Paweł Jaworski — in his ADCC debut, he was able to sub 3 out of 4 opponents on his way to winning gold in his home country, in a ruleset that worked against his favor. Having also just subbed Rafael Lovato in ONE only 1 WEEK PRIOR to ADCC, this man is on a truly generational run.
- Marlon Tajik — beat Chen, only lost by a penalty to Jaworski in the -88 kg final, then made a thrilling run in the Absolute division to earn 4th place.
- Kazakh boxing — IFYKYK… helluva left hook

Stock tanking
- The ADCC finals ruleset. We can’t be having a 40-minute collar-tie fiasco. The announcement of the second overtime during the -77 kg final made me want to hit myself over the head with a steel water bottle.
Stock… in shambles
- Tatami was one of the most popular brands at ADCC, especially amongst winners. Pena, first to win Absolute twice. Helena Crevar, youngest champion to win gold. Joslyn Molina, youngest ADCC medalist. Jasmine Rocha, the Rocha who won gold. All Tatami. So Tatami stock should be flying high right? Well… I’ll just leave this here.
Best fits
- VHTS Ferrari — Worn by Chris Wojcik and Mayssa Bastos

- Fight Aesthetic — Worn by Jozef Chen, Declan Moody

- Progress x Los Banditos — Worn by Los Banditos (Eoghan O’Flanagan, Taylor Pearman)

- Albino & Preto — Worn by Gavin Corbe

Side note: Isn’t it such a waste of a moment when a grappler is rocking a sick rash guard kit and it’s nowhere to be found on the brand’s store?
